Beautiful Noise from the Noisettes “Never Forget You” this week brought to you by Bananas.  For more info, click here.

It’s been on my mind all day and this song made me start thinking of Stop! In The Name Of Love haha.

Am late, but here’s my choice for Muzak Monday this week. Enjoy.

Muzak Monday. Week 3.

Lisa Mitchell “Coin Laundry”

I love this video and song so, so much. It’s so..cute. I kinda wish this video was a story so I can curl up on the sofa and spend an afternoon reading it.

Also, I missed last week’s Muzak Monday, sorry! So, here’s another song to check out. Lisa Mitchell’s Neopolitan Dreams. Very cute video as well. I love this girl! :)

Muzak Monday. Week 2.

Artist: Lady Gaga
Song: Dance in the Dark

I’m not really feeling this week’s pick, but this is the best I can do haha.

Last night, my brain decided to compose EPIC songs/instrumentals just as I was beginning to feel myself relax enough to sleep. The first one was inspired and loosely based on this song with heavy beats and this one exotic-sounding instrument I’ve heard somewhere before. The second one I composed had more horns and brass instruments and it’d fit in with dramatic scenes in movies.

Alas, I’ve forgotten how they go now. WHICH SUCKS SO MUCH, YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW. This always happens when I’m beginning to ride the edge of sleep. I think I’d be pretty successful if I could ever remember them in the morning and knew how to make them exist outside of my head.

Maybe, if I can somehow replicate that moment in-between wakefulness and lalaland..deep meditation? yoga? I think it’s cause I’m at the most open and relaxed state that allows me to be the most creative. And when I tried to dig deeper into the intricacies of the music in my head last night, it freaking hurt. I could feel myself getting a headache. I think I could have had an anxiety attack cause that never happened to me before. In the end, I distracted myself with thoughts of The Boy and drifted to sleep.

/long ass monologue. Whoops.

Enjoy.

Blink-182 “First Date”

Here is the first song for Muzak Monday! And it captures how I’m feeling today perfectly. I’m not on a date, but it’s bright and happy and makes me think of new beginnings.

Enjoy this song. Be sure to double click the video so it will open up in a new window and play.
